10kg Lost: Eric’s 14-Week Boxing Breakthrough

A Spark Ignites: Eric’s Boxing Journey

What started as a casual interest in boxing quickly became a passion for Eric. Just six weeks into training, he set an ambitious goal: to compete in a white-collar boxing match. Preparing for this milestone required a carefully structured 14-week program that developed his skills and prepared him physically and mentally for the challenge ahead. 

A Tailored Training Regimen

Labi’s training program was designed to push boundaries and maximise results, combining technical skill development with strength and endurance building. His weekly routine included:

Pad Work and Sparring: improving  his technique, reaction time, and confidence in the ring.

Bodyweight and Compound Strength Exercises: A mix of compound movements like squats, bench presses, barbell clean and presses, barbell bent-over rows, deadlifts, barbell landmine shoulder presses, and barbell power snatches.

These were complemented by bodyweight exercises such as 200 push-ups, 100 sit-ups, 100 box jumps, walking lunges, and barbell landmine wood chops to build power and endurance.

 Cardio Sessions: Two 45-minute runs each week and 20-minute rope skipping sessions to improve stamina and cardiovascular fitness.

The Results

After 14 weeks of dedication and hard work, Labi’s achieved astonishing results:
• He lost 10kg of fat and gained 4kg of muscle, sculpting a lean, powerful physique.

• His energy levels soared, improving his productivity both at work and in his personal life.

• He radiated newfound confidence, positively impacting every aspect of his life.

Labi’s efforts culminated in a triumphant debut in the ring, where he not only competed but emerged victorious. His journey demonstrates the power of a goal-driven training programme and unwavering determination.
